Metasa Launches Welding Training Project

The initiative, which debuts as a pilot project, represents a paradigm shift in internal training. Whereas the focus used to be on technical mastery, the goal now is to integrate that knowledge into a broader view of industrial processes. The aim is to prepare professionals who understand the full cycle of operations, strengthening the link between technique, quality and organizational culture.

In the first class, seven employees are taking part in the program under the guidance of instructor Leocir Fernando Giollo. Beyond refining welding techniques safely and efficiently, participants are introduced to maintenance concepts, quality best practices and the core values that underpin Metasa.

According to Giollo, the project seeks not only to improve skills but also to foster a sense of responsibility and professional growth among participants. “We are training well-rounded professionals who understand the impact of their work across the entire production chain,” the instructor points out.

Because it is a pilot, the methodology will be evaluated and refined before being expanded to other areas of the company. The expectation is that the success of this class will establish a model of continuous learning, aligning employee development with Metasa's strategic goals.

For Metasa S.A's Superintendent Director, Cristhine Fuga Roso, this project is a source of pride. “We are very happy to provide this professional training to our employees, especially as we approach such an important milestone as Metasa S.A's 50 years,” the Superintendent Director says.

With the Vocational School, Metasa reaffirms that its greatest asset is its people and that investing in their well-rounded development is the foundation for innovation, excellence and longevity in the market.
