Metasa Takes Part in the 1st Innovative Solutions Lab at Hub Aliança

Representing the company, Robson Abreu, Process Engineering Manager; Elias Alves Machado, R&D Analyst; and Thiago Rodrigues, Planning Manager, presented the METASA PITCH – Offcut Management Challenge, with proposals to reduce waste, increase equipment availability, improve efficiency and lower operating costs.
The work grew out of observing a large buildup of offcuts in the plate preparation area, which inspired the team to propose innovative, collaborative actions between operational and strategic areas with a single goal: generating value through innovation and continuous improvement.
We highlight the engagement and participation of every area in building this proposal, especially Diogo Roso, Tiago Dal Piva, Rudimar da Rosa, Cintia Mariano and Vagner Czyzevenski, who contributed to developing this initiative.
Next steps include strengthening the partnership with Hub Aliança, structuring the Innovation Committee and training those involved in the process. In these nearly 50 years of history, we continue to innovate together and are certainly ready for the future!
