Metasa Takes Part in AMCHAM's 2026 Shop Floor Leadership Event

On April 23 and 24, the capital of Rio Grande do Sul hosted an important immersion program focused on operational excellence and people management. Reaffirming its commitment to continuous development, Metasa attended the "Shop Floor Leadership" event organized by AMCHAM.

The event was led by Professor Marcelo Pirani, an expert who shared extensive knowledge and practical strategies for improving team leadership in industrial settings. The main focus was preparing leaders for today's manufacturing challenges, combining productivity and human well-being.

Event participant Grazieli Conti Lodi, a psychologist in Metasa's Human and Organizational Development team, emphasized the importance of this initiative.

"It was two days of intense exchanges with our colleagues and with other companies. It's really great to be able to share experiences and learn more. It was a great opportunity for the company to bring us here. I am very grateful for the opportunity!" the psychologist said.

Metasa concluded its participation in the program with a hands-on stage of technical visits on May 7 and 8. Representatives of Metasa's leadership team visited the manufacturing plants of Klabin, WEG and Tigre, where they were able to see up close their production processes, management models, organizational culture and leadership practices applied in industrial settings.

These were two days of intense exchange of experience and learning, reaffirming the importance of leadership as a strategic driver for delivering results with safety, quality and team engagement.

Metasa's marketing supervisor, Carolina Schmidke, shares her perspective on the experience: “More than observing production processes, automation, management models and leadership practices, I was able to experience firsthand how solid organizational cultures are built. All of this offers a new perspective on how to communicate, what to communicate and, above all, the real purpose of what we do.”

The initiative is part of Metasa's strategic plan for the continuous training of supervisors and managers. By investing in the development of front-line leadership, the company strengthens its operational base to maintain excellence in delivering steel structures, in line with its purpose of building safer futures.
