Pink October and Blue November at Metasa

Throughout October, Metasa held initiatives dedicated to the health and well-being of its female employees. Free breast ultrasounds were offered to female employees aged 40 and over.

In addition, talks were given by nurse Caroline Poles, who addressed breast cancer and the power of self-care.

It was a special opportunity to learn about prevention, early diagnosis, healthy habits and women's empowerment.

In November, Metasa held a number of initiatives for Blue November, a month dedicated to raising awareness of men's health and prostate cancer prevention.

The initiatives included Total and Free PSA tests (blood draw) for employees over 40, talks by nurse Caroline Poles on prevention and early diagnosis, an awareness campaign in the cafeteria and the distribution of informational materials throughout the factory. Metasa believes that taking care of your health is an act of responsibility and prevention.

The absence of symptoms does not guarantee the absence of problems — prevention is still the best path.
