At Caracol Park, in Canela/RS, Metasa produced the steel structures for the new Lookout and Café. Cantilevered beams extend up to 16 meters over the cliff, supporting a walkway, a glass floor and a café with a privileged view of the famous Caracol Waterfall.
With approximately 190 metric tons of steel, the main technical challenge of this project was reconciling the architectural design with the structural calculation and erection constraints imposed by the terrain.
To overcome it, our engineering team carried out advanced dynamic analyses of the cantilevered areas, ensuring stability, comfort and safety for park visitors.
